Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zink Tools ("we," "us," or "our"), operated from Orlando, Florida, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this website, purchase a license, or use our software. We built Zink Tools to render pixels, not to harvest data — we collect the minimum needed to sell and support the product.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

What we do NOT collect

2. How We Use Information

3. Legal Bases (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on these bases: performance of a contract (delivering what you bought), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, license enforcement, securing the site), legal obligation (tax records), and consent (optional marketing email).

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with service providers who need it to operate the business:

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights, and in connection with a merger or sale of the business (in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data).

5. Data Retention

Purchase records are retained as long as required for tax and accounting law (generally 7 years). License records are retained for the life of the license so we can restore your keys. Support emails are retained while relevant. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@zinktools.com. We will respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data: TLS encryption in transit, hashed machine identifiers, access limited to those who need it, and payment handling delegated entirely to PCI-compliant processors. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we minimize what we hold so there is little to lose.

8. Children's Privacy

This website and our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Transfers

We operate from the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US and by our processors' infrastructure, which may be located elsewhere. Our processors offer standard contractual clauses where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
